Agricultural aid to farmers consists of support and funding in compliance with the joint EU agricultural policy and national support scheme. The objective of the aid to farmers is to ensure profitability and continuity of production.
Application for and payment of support
You can apply for agricultural support either online in Vipu e-service or by submitting paper forms by the due date to one of the municipalities in the local government collaboration area, i.e. Kuusamo, Posio or Taivalkoski. Support forms and conditions are listed on the Finnish Food Authority’s website. The support is based either on hectares of arable land or number of animals/animal units or amounts produced at a certain period of time determined by the Finnish Food Authority.
