Mental Health Work
Mental health work in Kuusamo is a part of health and social services. The psychiatric inpatient ward and the outpatient mental health clinic are located and available on the 3rd floor in the health centre.
Client and appointment services of the outpatient mental health clinic are targeted at working age municipal citizens aged 16 and over. The psychiatric inpatient ward provides round-the-clock ward care. You enter the ward with the referral by the on-call physician, to continued treatment from the Oulu University Hospital (OYS) or ordered by a departmental physician as planned.
