The main responsibility of the Urban Committee is to ensure that urban planning and construction meet the requirements of sustainable development. The objective of all activity is to safeguard and guarantee diverse, enjoyable and safe environment.
Furthermore, the committee is in charge of good building practices and, among many other things, nature conservation which protects biodiversity.
The committee has 15 members.
