Canoeing and kayaking routes
You can go boating from the Kelanranta in the town centre of Kuusamo, from the Lahdentaus, the Tolpanniemi marina and the Lahtela on the side of the road Lämsänkyläntie.
Canoeing routes in river Oulankajoki
Savinajoki – Oulanka Visitor Center route runs in between the rugged cliff walls and has sections of fairly short rapids. Route is meant for experienced canoeists. Lower part of the river Oulankajoki is suitable for beginners and families with children. There are no rapids in this route.
