Client service point in Health Centre answers your questions and advises you on finding the right place. If you are unsure of who to contact to in the Health Centre, please, ask for advice from the client service point. We will be happy to help. 

You can pay all invoices sent by the Town of Kuusamo at the client service point. No separate service fee is to be charged for paying invoices. 

You can leave medicinal prescriptions at the client service point for the purpose of being renewed. 

Medicinal prescription renewal 

There are several different options for renewing medicinal prescriptions. You can choose the most appropriate way for yourself from the following: 

  • A telephone call to or visit to the client service point in Health Centre, telephone +358 40 860 8610 
  • A request for renewal through a pharmacy 
  • A request for renewal through My Kanta Pages (opens in a new tab). There is a log in link to My Kanta Pages, at the top right of the page. On the page, you can find instructions of use. 
  • You can also request for medicinal prescription renewal when visiting a physician (not possible in emergency services). 

Requests for medicinal prescription renewal will be handled within eight days. 

Medicinal prescriptions of people from outside the Kuusamo region will be renewed only in urgent cases. Please, take contact primarily with the health centre within your own municipality of residence. 

Medicinal prescriptions for contraceptive pills will be renewed in the maternity and child health clinic and the prescriptions written in the mental health clinic will also be renewed primarily there.
