Nature Photo Competition

The competition is open to everyone. Previously published photos may be entered as long they have not been awarded in previous Kuusamo Nature Photo Competitions. The photographer must hold full copyrights to the entries. Photos may be used in Nature Photo introductions or advertising without limitations.

Photos

Three photos per category. Only digital files in two different folders titled "View images" & "Print images". The resolution for JPG View images, length side max 1024 px. Print images JPG highest zip file 12, resolution 300dpi. The Natural Category (B) should include a third folder named "Natural Category Originals". The images must be named according as category (A,B,C)/ number (1-3)/ name of the photo/ photographers name, e.g. A1.Fox.John Johnson. Send the photos on CD, DVD or memory stick. Notice we will not return the CD, DVD or memory stick!

Jury

Categories A and B and D: (chairman), Hannele Fors, Pauli Määttä (Metsähallitus) and as a annually changing judge Raimo Yli-Suvanto. Category C: a jury from Koillissanomat chooses the ten best pictures that are published on Koillissanomat in August. After the readers vote for their favourites, the jury will decide the final order of the prizes.

Results

The results will be announced at Kuusamotalo Hall on Friday the 7. of September 2012 5.30 p.m.  All the awarded will be invited to attend the event.
